New In: Missguided Pieces

Hello Readers,

I've been on a spending ban recently and managed to go almost four months without treating myself to anything. Which is pretty amazing by my standards, especially as I find that reading a lot of blogs / watching a lot of beauty and fashion content on Youtube really does sway me into buying things that I probably could have lived without. After going so long without picking any bits up I finally decided it was time to reward myself as we all deserve the odd treat every now and again! It just so happened to be around the time that Missguided sent an email out promoting 30% off of selected items. I had a night out coming up so quickly took the chance to snap up a new outfit at a discounted price.

This was the playsuit I picked up for my night out - now admittedly it's not something I ever thought I'd like as typically when I go on nights out I either wear black, white or red. I don't think I've ever gone out in something so loud yet there was something that really drew me to this. I really love the dark, romantic feel to this playsuit. It looks lovely with a little black belt to cinch in the waist and some chunky black heels to add some height. I wore my MAC Rebel lipstick with this and honestly, it's like a match made in heaven. Perfect combination of colours! I managed to get this for £19.45 all together including delivery thanks to the discount code.

Mintare Crop Top with Spaghetti Straps - £9.99

I didn't intend to order any other items from Missguided until 12 days later - when Missguided sent me another email offering a discount code. This time they were doing a secret 24 hour discount for those who are signed up to their email list (seriously it's worth doing, they offer a lot of discounts!) In this email they gave you a code which when used at checkout would either be worth 10%, 15% or 20% so I decided to check mine and what do you know?! It happened to be worth 20% so I just had to pick some stuff up! First up I got this Mintare Crop Top with Spaghetti Straps in black. I've been looking at getting this little top for so long and finally decided to get it. It's a great little basic which fits me so well. I definitely think I'm going to pick up a few more - some printed ones would be great!

The final thing I picked up is this pair of Lace trim Shorts. Again, this isn't something I'd typically go for but I found myself really drawn to them. They're very easy to style and could easily go from day to night so I hope to get lots of use out of them! Look out for these being featured in an outfit post very soon.

That's all for this small haul. I know it isn't much but I just thought I'd show you the new pieces that I've just added to my wardrobe. If you haven't had a look at Missguided before then I highly recommend checking them out. They have a fantastic range of clothes, shoes, accessories etc and all of it is very reasonably priced. It's probably my favourite place to shop now! Also, they've recently been giving out free Kinder Buenos with each order which is a nice little bonus! Free chocolate and discounted clothes *Heavenly*

That's all for this post! I hope you're all well.

New Look Wishlist

Hello Readers,

So I was randomly browsing the New Look website last night when I started eyeing up a few pieces and before I knew it I was slowly adding them into my online basket. New Look has been really on point the last few months and is constantly amazing me with their on trend pieces and affordable prices! Here I've put together a list of some items that I really wouldn't mind adding to my wardrobe.

That's all for this post, I hope you're all well!

OOTD #15

Hello Readers,

Today I have an OOTD post for you. Technically I'm cheating here because I'm showing you an outfit which I wore on Sunday when my parents came up to Nottingham to take me out for Sunday dinner. Being a fussy eater who despises Sunday dinners, I managed to get them to go to a Chinese buffet instead, yummy! I had a job assessment today which lasted over 7 hours so I didn't get a chance to photograph my outfit today which is why I just decided to make use of these previous OOTD shots which I never used.
So I hope you don't mind.
This is quite a simple outfit I know, however I really like the minimalistic monochrome styling of it. Also I've been wearing my hat to death recently as my hair is such a mess, it desperately needs cut, especially my fringe. I'm thinking of getting a full fringe back in however I'm not sure as I always have a love hate relationship with it. Any suggestions to what I could do with my hair? Full fringe, side fringe? What do you think would suit me better? I'd love to hear some opinions!

Outfit;
Oversized Boxy Crop Top - Primark
Black Jamie Jeans - Topshop
Cut Out Ankle Boots - Ebay
Gold Chain Necklace - River Island
Bowler Hat - Amazon

I hope you're all well!

Paige.

OOTD #8

Hello Everyone!

I've been a bad blogger and took a 3 day break from posting anything. I'm sorry for my absence, I hope you don't mind too much. I had a bit of bad news on Friday, and it was just one of those days where everything bad seemed to be happening all at once so I've avoided the internet as I've not been in such a great mood. However I'm back, things are looking up and I've got nothing to complain about so on with the OOTD post! The weather the past few days has been wonderful and it still is so it's been nice digging out my summery clothes and using the hot weather as excuse to be lazy with my hair and makeup.

I'm not really doing too much today as per usual. So far today, me and my boyfriend have signed up for the Alpha stage of a new game, we've walked my dog, I've done some hoovering around the house and now we're just about to make a fruit salad. How exciting!

It's really hot today so my outfit is rather simplistic and temperature appropriate. Probably not the most interesting to look at but oh well, we can't all look amazing all the time, right?!

Outfit:
Cropped Striped Boxy Shirt - Topshop
Denim Shorts - Topshop
Brown Strappy Sandals - George at Asda
Black Sunglasses - Cosmopolitan Magazine

Jewellery:
2 Gold Rings - Hand Me Downs
Gold Bracelet - Hand Me Down

That's it for today's post! I hope you enjoyed, and once again sorry for my absence.

Also, could anyone recommend me some blogs to check out? Fashion, Beauty, Photography etc! I'd really love to add some new ones to my reading list.

Take care!

Paige.

Topshop Wishlist #1

Hello Readers!

I am so sorry that today's post is yet another wish list but I've been so lazy all day and then towards the evening, I actually ended up being productive with my college work so I've not dedicated any part of today to take pictures for a new blog post. I hope you can forgive me for that! I assure you that at least the next 3 posts will be something different.

Anyway, I've been on the Topshop website recently and I noticed a few bits and pieces that I really quite like but unfortunately can't afford. So here is my current Topshop wish list!

*None of these images were taken by me*

This top would look so adorable with a pair of light wash denim shorts, or even light wash denim joni jeans. It's a summer staple and for only £10.

2. Long Sleeve Heart Print Shirt
This shirt is too cute to pass up. It's monochrome, which is a big love of mine and it has an adorable heart print all over it. This would look lovely and casual tucked into a black skater skirt and could be smartened up if paired with nice black jeans or disco pants.

3. Chunky Mix Rib Jumper
Now I know we're coming up to summer so it's a bit silly of me to be looking at jumpers but I really do love this one. I think with a nice pair of jeans, a statement necklace and little brown Chelsea boots this would make a lovely outfit for those rubbish "Summer" days here in England.

4. Crochet Crop Top
Again another top I'd consider to be a summer staple. It's cute, girly and very lightweight. It'd look lovely paired with light wash denim on the bottom half, as well as black denim. I think this would also look lovely with a nice floaty maxi skirt too!

5. Black Joni Jeans
The Joni Jeans are a god send. They give me the confidence to wear crop tops due to the high waist on them. I think these would be a great piece in the summer during those slightly cooler days. I already have the light wash pair and would love to add these to my collection!
