Homeware Wishlist

I've been getting really into interior design lately and here a selection of a few items that I really want to pick up as soon as I get some money. I've got to say I'm really impressed with the home ware stuff in Asda at the moment especially their Luna themed collection!

OOTD #20

Hello Readers,

I thought I'd update my blog with an OOTD. It's been almost 20 days since my last one so I think it's well overdue considering I wanted to turn my blog into one that was a bit more fashion based. My reason for not really posting many outfit shots is because I honestly spend SO much of my time in my pyjamas and anytime I do get dressed and go anywhere I never really wear anything particularly exciting.

Today I went out and decided to try and start my Christmas shopping but unfortunately returned empty handed but with a belly full of Mcdonalds instead. I've made a list of what I want to get everyone, I just need to look around online and in store and see where I can get the better deal. Well, that's what I'm telling myself so I feel better. I decided that I'd try and style my new Daisy printed jumper that my boyfriend got me for my birthday. It's quite a loud printed jumper so initially I wasn't sure how I was going to style it. I stayed true to my normal dress sense and paired it with a black pleated leather skater skirt, a white shirt, black tights and my comfy cut out boots.

To some of you, you may be thinking, well that doesn't look like a very loud jumper to me, but honestly for me personally I felt so colourful which is ironic considering all my outfit is pretty much black. It's crazy how just a few splodges of yellow on a jumper can make me feel like that haha.

Oh and I'd just like to add that I look absolutely miserable in these pictures so please excuse that and the lighting is pretty horrific also. I really need to find a good location indoors to take my OOTD pictures as it's too cold to go outside now..

That's all for this post, I hope you're all well!

OOTD #19

Hello Readers,

Today I have an OOTD post for you all. It's been a little while since my last one as the colder weather has kicked in and I don't particularly want to be standing around taking pictures in the rain or gail force winds. I'm still yet to find a decent indoor space to do my OOTD shots, this time I tried the hallway in the block of flats that I live in. I'm not really the biggest fan of these images however I really wanted to get these up as I'd love to turn my blog into a bit more of a fashion based one.

I finally decided to wear the cat print skater skirt I picked up from H&M back in September. I styled it quite simply, just with a plain white boyfriend style tshirt, a bowler hat and some cut out boots. I believe the skirt is quite a statement piece due to the abstract print so I decided just to play it safe and style the rest of the outfit in quite a minimalistic way. I'm a big fan of monochrome and minimalism as you may know!

Outfit:
Cat Print Skirt - H&M
White Boyfriend T-shirt - Topman
Black Cut Out Boots - Ebay
Black Tights - Primark
Bowler Hat - Amazon.

That's all for this post, I'm off now to try and tackle the challenge that is UCAS!
I hope you're all well.

OOTD #18

Hello Readers,

I've already tried to do this post once today but it messed up so hopefully this time it works! Today I have an OOTD post for you all. I'd just like to apologize for the quality of these photographs as they're not very good. I had to take these images during the evening so the lighting sucks. I spent my day handing out more CV's and just in general walking around Nottingham. Me and my boyfriend Chris also stopped to have lunch at this adorable little cafĂ© called the Olive Tree. I wish I had bought my camera along to snap some pictures!

My outfit today was quite simple, I decided to wear my brand new Motel Rocks shirt which I picked up in their recent sale for £19. Believe it or not but that was the first time I've ever placed an order with Motel Rocks and I'd gladly do it again. I was super happy with the service and the quality of my items. I shall do a small haul post within the next few days where I'll show you the other Motel item I picked up as well as this shirt.

Outfit:
Faux Leather Skirt - H&M
Cropped Printed Shirt - Motel Rocks
Tights - Primark
Backpack - Primark
Bowler Hat - Amazon

That's it for this post, I hope you're all well!

Mini Haul #5

Hello Readers.

Today I have a very, very mini clothing haul to share with you. I wanted to wait until I had accumulated a few more things however I don't really have much money to spend at the minute so I might as well just show you what I have already. I mentioned in my post yesterday that I had picked up one item from H&M and being the naughty spender I am, I wandered back up town today and headed into Primark which resulted in 2 more purchases. So on with the haul!

The first thing I'm going to talk about is this super adorable cat print skirt that I got from H&M. This cost around £12.99 which I think it quite expensive for what it is, however I love it and just couldn't resist buying it. I originally intended to buy the skater dress version of this, however me and my boyfriend both agreed that I'd probably have an easier time styling the skirt. I picked this up in an 8, however I probably could have done with a 6 as this is slightly loose around my stomach. I can't wait to style this piece and do an OOTD post wearing it.

Next item I picked up was this beautiful tartan scarf from Primark. If you have been keeping up with my blog you will have seen my post on Plaid being a big A/W trend for this year and I can safely say that's true. I've seen loads of tartan pieces whilst I was out shopping today so I thought I'd embrace this trend and finally pick up a tartan scarf which I have wanted for quite a long time now. This scarf was about £4.

(Apologies for the awful picture)

The final thing I picked up was this dark, denim pinafore which was also from Primark. I mentioned in my wishlist post the other day that I really wanted one and I finally found one at an affordable price so I picked it up straight away. This pinafore has little faux leather straps which makes it even better in my books! I can't wait to style this and feature this in a few blog posts so keep an eye out for that. I picked this up in a size 6 and this cost around £12.

That's all for this mini haul. I hope you enjoy!
Let me know what you think of some of these pieces below.

I hope you're all well.

Paige.

OOTD #13

Hello Readers.

Today when I got up I decided to make a bit of an effort with my appearance despite not really doing anything today so this gave me the perfect opportunity to do an OOTD post. The only thing I have done today was nipping up town for a little while and this then resulted in a cheeky little clothing purchase from H&M. I'll wait until I've purchased a few more things before I show you what I bought as there's not much point in just showing you the one item.
So as I was saying, I decided to make an effort in what I was wearing today and I set myself the challenge of styling a leather skirt that I got a while back, which coincidently is also from H&M. I don't wear this skirt much as I find it quite hard to style, I decided to keep the styling really simplistic and went for a monochrome theme. It's a very simple outfit, however the accessories and lipstick help to make it a bit more interesting.
